In my spare time I\nshow horses and this past year I was on the 2018 United States Saddle Seat\nWorld Cup 5-Gaited Team where we competed against South Africa, Canada and\nNamibia! After months of practice we competed in July in Kentucky and we earned\nthe Gold Medal! I have been working my entire riding career for the opportunity\nto showcase my riding in the Saddle Seat division and this past year my dreams\ncame true after years of hard work! I am only the 13th rider to win the coveted\nSaddle Seat Triple Crown of Equitation since 1972! It was an amazing and busy\nyear to say the least! When I am not traveling related to my riding most\nweekends for horse shows, and in my spare time I work at the barn and try my\nbest to hang out with friends! I enjoy going to the Corners of Brookfield and a\nlocal coffee shop in Oconomowoc to hang out. Outside of that I am an online\nhigh school student which was a decision our family decided to switch to my\nsophomore year because of the flexibility needed for travel with horse shows!\nMy future plan is to attend the University of Wisconsin Waukesha to get all my\ncore classes completed then I plan to attend The Ohio State University with a\ngoal of attending Law School in the future. I am very excited for what the\nfuture holds!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n HARTLAND– Haley Berget is a senior in high school. She is home schooled and takes classes online.
